QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Wyser is the international company within Gi Group Holding in charge of searching for and selecting specialized middle and senior management.

We are looking for an “Export Sales Manager" (Located in Trabzon) to our client who is the Defense Industry.


Job Description
• Plan and manage international sales strategies.
• Implement assigned sales targets by developing operational action plans to achieve these objectives.
• Analyze the sales performance of the product group and develop improvement strategies.
• Lead, guide, and support the foreign trade team to ensure the achievement of team goals.
• Work in coordination with production, R&D, operations, and other departments to best meet customer demands.
• Provide quick solutions to problems encountered during the sales process and directly intervene in the process when necessary.
• Contribute to new product development processes in line with customer feedback and market needs.
• Provide regular reports to senior management regarding sales performance, strategies, and market developments.
• Identify potential markets and new customer segments, and develop target market strategies accordingly.
• Conduct competitor analyses and develop strategies to gain a competitive advantage in the market.
• Manage the necessary preparations for participating in international fairs and industry events to promote product groups and enhance brand awareness.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and expand the customer portfolio.
• Supervise the workflows of the foreign trade operations team, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies, and provide direct support when necessary.
• Work in close coordination with the foreign trade operations team to ensure export processes are carried out efficiently, accurately, and on time, and develop strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Guide the operations team in operational processes, proactively identify potential risks, and develop preventive solutions.
• Monitor after-sales service quality and carry out activities to improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, etc.).
• At least 7 years of experience in foreign trade sales and operations, preferably with managerial experience in a similar industry.
• Advanced level of English (preferably TOEFL score of 90 or IELTS score of 7.0 and above).
• Experience in B2B and B2G business models.
• Competent in strategic sales management, team leadership, and goal-oriented working.
• Proficient in MS Office programs and preferably experienced in ERP systems such as Netsis.
• Experienced in customer relationship management in international markets, trade fair participation, and market analysis.
