QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a " Planning Engineer " on our Sakarya-Adapazarı location of our company operating in the Energy, Technology and Engineering sector.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project planning, including at least 2 years focused on cost control and budgeting within industrial construction projects
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Advanced proficiency in project management software, particularly Primavera P6 (mandatory), as well as MS Project
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and industry-standard practices
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a proven capacity to work independently
- Willing and able to travel without restrictions
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Preparing, controlling, and updating the detailed project schedule in line with corporate procedures and contractual obligations
- Developing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and integrating resource loading (cost and labor) into the project schedule
- Preparing and updating periodic schedule reports; identifying delays and critical paths; and proposing appropriate solutions for ongoing challenges
- Preparing weekly corporate management reports that include comprehensive data on the project’s financial and physical progress
- Establishing, tracking, and monitoring the project progress measurement system
- Coordinating with the Project Management team and subcontractors to obtain and validate progress data, ensuring accurate and up-to-date scheduling
- Conducting regular audits of project plans to verify adherence to planning procedures and identify potential deviations
- Preparing thorough project closeout reports for evaluation and future reference
- Managing invoicing processes for both clients and subcontractors
- Preparing, reviewing, and controlling invoices and claims submitted by subcontractors and clients
- Conducting cost-to-complete analyses across all cost elements to ensure accurate financial forecasting
