MT Volex is a specialized manufacturing facility within the Integrated Manufacturing Services division, producing custom cable assemblies and wire harnesses for customers, particularly in the automotive industry. Our parent company, VOLEX GROUP, is a leading expert in integrated manufacturing for power-critical applications and a supplier of power products. Headquartered in the UK, the company currently operates 28 manufacturing facilities in 20 countries and employs over 13,500 personnel.
For our factory located in the Gebze Taysad Organized Industrial Zone, we are seeking an “RFQ Specialist” who will develop and implement software robots to automate repetitive business processes as part of our digital transformation strategies and take end-to-end responsibility for RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions.
General Qualifications:
- Graduated from numerical departments of universities such as Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Cost Accounting,
- Actively working in sales costing or cost accounting,
- Advanced level of English proficiency,
- Excellent negotiation, persuasion, communication, problem-solving, relationship-building, bargaining, and organizational skills,
- Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets,
- Strategic thinker with a sharp understanding of automotive industry trends and market Dynamics.
Job Description:
- Working in coordination with sales, engineering, and purchasing teams to complete RFQs on time,
- Assisting in determining the sales prices of products for existing and developing customers, based on BOM and labor times prepared by the engineering team and material prices provided by the purchasing team,Monitoring the market prices of commodities such as copper, terminals, connectors, PVC, plastic, lead, and tin to ensure sales price offers align with expected market changes,

- Comparing and ensuring the most appropriate purchasing prices for customer projects by monitoring volume and cost analyses,
- Supporting the purchasing team when previously unknown sub-materials need to be used in pricing studies,
- Conducting purchasing-production cost comparisons for materials currently purchased or required in new RFQs based on purchasing volume and material prices, and presenting feasibility analyses to senior management,
- Ensuring that the cost information of production stages in the ERP system is up to date through necessary checks and evaluations,
- Analyzing the production cost of products in mass production compared to the cost determined in sales price analysis, and resolving potential issues in collaboration with the finance production cost team.
